Tom Bosworth's 914

Throughout the year we have track events. We hold our local events at Pinal Air Park, a 1.2 mile road course that is safe and exciting. Even if you don't want to drive your car on the track, we can always use help in running the events, so come on out.

We also organize trips to other clubs' events, such as Sierra Vista Car Club's autocross at Fort Huachuca, and other PCA region's events at Firebird in Phoenix. A favorite of many is Arroyo Seco Raceway in Deming, New Mexico. We hold Drivers Education (a.k.a. Drivers Ed or DE), continuous lap-driving events here. Arroyo Seco Raceway is a 1.1 mile or 1.4 mile multi purpose built road course that can be ran in either clockwise or counter-clockwise directions. If you haven't been out to one of these events, come and find out why Porsche handling is so famous, and meet other Porsche enthusiasts who are enjoying their cars in thrilling ways. Check for upcoming events.

Other nearby regions also hold autocrosses, time trials, and driver's education events. You can check our calendar for events, or see this map of local regions with links to them so you can check their schedules. Events are also listed in the Zuffenhausen News. Because our region is in PCA's Zone 8, we can compete within Zone 8 for trophies. To compete at the Zone level, you will need to go to events within Zone 8. Our New Mexico and Utah neighbors are in Zone 9. Find out more through these links:

PCA Club Racing

PCA holds races throughout the year at various locations. The closest one to southern Arizona is in Phoenix, held at Phoenix International Raceway or Firebird, usually in winter or early spring. The races are very exciting to watch, and, if you equip your Porsche properly and take some driving instruction, you can participate.
